Brandon Jay McLaren in “Chicago Fire”
Brandon Jay McLaren (Jack from Power Rangers S.P.D.) appeared in the February 16 episode of NBC’s Chicago Fire as the start of a recurring role on the series.
He plays Danny Booker, a former gang member who has turned his life around and become a politician. The episode is #415 “Bad for the Soul.” You can watch the episode below:

Brandon Jay McLaren (Jack from Power Rangers S.P.D.) has booked a role in a drama pilot ordered by ABC called The Jury, following a single trial throughout the season from the eyes of a different juror each episode.
He’ll play Jared, a man with a dark past who is one of the twelve jurors.

Rick Medina Denied Reduction in Bail
After being arrested on formal murder charges last month, KNBC-4 Los Angeles reports that Rick Medina a.k.a. Ricardo Medina, Jr. (Cole from Power Rangers Wild Force) appeared in court in the city of Lancaster for a bail hearing, presenting the argument that Medina does not pose a threat to the outside world. The judge turned down the reduction request and the $1 million dollar bail still stands.
Deputy District Attorney Tannaz Mokayef claimed that there were ten total stab wounds on Joshua Sutter’s body, Medina’s former roommate. Medina’s attorney Alan Bell disputed the claim, saying that the prosecution did not want to see photos proving the majority of those wounds were bites from dogs cared for on Sutter’s property and the coroner had incorrectly identified said wounds.
Bell also presented a protective order filed by Joshua Sutter’s sister Rachel Kennedy against her brother. Bell cited that Sutter possibly had a violent pattern, but Kennedy spoke to reporters stating that the incident between her and her brother was all a misunderstanding.
Medina has another court date currently scheduled for April 2016.
Azim Rizk in “NCIS: Los Angeles”
Azim Rizk (Jake from Power Rangers Megaforce) appeared in the January 25, 2016 episode of CBS’s NCIS: Los Angeles.
He plays the clerk at a motel who is later brought in as a suspect, credited as Al Yasin. The episode is #714 “Come Back.”

Cerina Vincent in “Stuck in the Middle”
Cerina Vincent (Maya from Power Rangers Lost Galaxy) co-stars in the Disney Channel original series Stuck in the Middle.
She plays Suzy Diaz, the mother of seven children in a household that’s chaotic sometimes while middle child Harley finds her way through it all. The pilot debuted on February 14, and the series officially premieres March 11.

BOOM! Comics Announces Pink Ranger Comic Miniseries
In an exclusive with the Los Angeles Times, BOOM! Comics explains their plans to expand the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comic book that launched in January with a six-part series centering on Kimberly’s character simply called Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Pink.
“Kimberly has retired from the Power Rangers to pursue life as a professional gymnast, but Zordon calls her back for one last mission to defend a mountainside where a long-resting, ancient, evil Zord lies dormant. To get back into the action—and, for the first time, lead her own team—Kimberly has to dust off the rust, plus create a practical, handmade outfit in the process!”
Written by Brenden Fletcher (of DC Comics’ Batgirl) and Kelly Thompson (of IDW’s Jem and the Holograms) and illustrated by Daniele DiNicuolo (of Dark Horse’s Mirror’s Edge: Exordium), the first issue is due out in May.

Rick Medina Re-Arrested for Murder
TMZ reports they’ve spoken to local law enforcement and Rick Medina a.k.a. Ricardo Medina, Jr. (Cole from Power Rangers Wild Force) has been arrested and formally charged with the stabbing death of his roommate Joshua Sutter.
Last year, Medina was involved in a fatal encounter with Sutter apparently stemming from an argument over Medina’s girlfriend. Medina immediately alerted police, and after an initial investigation, charges against him were dropped and he was released from jail. But the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department today says the district attorney has now charged Medina with one count of murder. According to the KTLA-5 Los Angeles news crew, prosecutors request he be held on $1 million bail.
The family of Joshua Sutter assumes this new action was taken due to evidence not matching Medina’s claim of self-defense. Chiefly, that Sutter was said to be the attacker yet had defensive wounds on his hands, and allegedly burst into Medina’s room yet most of his blood was found outside the room.
If convicted, Medina would face 26 years to life in prison.
Official Title and Synopsis of Power Rangers Season 24
According to IGN.com, Saban Brands is naming the 2017 incarnation of Power Rangers (TV show, not movie) Power Rangers Ninja Steel and has provided the following synopsis:
Saban’s Power Rangers Ninja Steel starts deep in space, where Zircon is the reigning champion of the most popular intergalactic game show in the universe, and monsters battle to prove who is the mightiest warrior. Zircon is determined to become invincible by controlling the mythical Spirit Crystal, which contains six supernatural Ninja Power Throwing Stars. The only thing standing in his way is a new team of heroic teenage Power Rangers who possess the Spirit Crystal. The evil Zircon sends his warrior contestants down to Earth to steal the Crystal, where each epic battle against the Rangers is broadcast throughout the universe. Together, the Rangers must master their arsenal of Throwing Stars, Zords and Megazords, each made of legendary ninja steel, in order to stop this evil threat and save our planet from destruction.
Ilia Volok in “NCIS” and “NCIS: New Orleans”
Ilia Volok (Master Org from Power Rangers Wild Force) appeared in the January 5 episodes of CBS’s NCIS and NCIS: New Orleans in a crossover event.
He plays one of the three Russian criminals that stops the autopsy van, credited as “Burly Man”. The episodes are NCIS #1312, “Sister City: Part 1” and NCIS: New Orleans #212, “Sister City: Part 2”.

Power Rangers Dino Super Charge Episode Synopses 1-8
Episode 1 – When Evil Stirs
The Rangers believe their work is done after they’ve defeated Sledge and his evil monsters. Unbeknownst to them, an even more powerful monster is picking up where Sledge left off and is closer to the Rangers than they think.
Episode 2 – Forgive and Forget
Snide plans to contaminate the city water with venom that makes you forget who you are in hopes that the Rangers will be infected. Meanwhile, Riley has a score to settle with an old rival at the Amber Beach Marathon.
Episode 3 – A Date with Danger
Chase tries to impress his new girlfriend, Kaylee by showing how talented and accomplished he is. But when it becomes more about him and less about her, Kaylee starts to fall for the Black Ranger instead.
Episode 4 – Nightmare in Amber Beach
Shelby receives a pillow from an unknown sender. When she uses it to take a nap, she starts living a nightmare. The Rangers suspect this must be from Snide so they all make sure to stay awake, but that proves to be harder than they thought.
Episode 5 – Roar of the Red Ranger
Tyler tries to master the new T-Rex Super Charge Mode, but after Heckyl plants a virus in Kendall’s computer, the T-Rex Super Charger malfunctions and makes Tyler go wild! Luckily, the Aqua Ranger is able to step in before it’s too late.
Episode 6 – Forged Under Fire
Tyler looks forward to catching up with his dad after not seeing him for the past 10 years. When Tyler’s Energem becomes cracked, he is forced to mend it by placing it in Hot Lava and prove to his dad he’s not a kid anymore.
Episode 7 – Home Run Koda
Kendall creates a new Victory Charger that requires the core 5 Energems. But when Riley becomes Koda’s coach on the Amber Beach Earthquake baseball team, he has a hard time pulling himself away from the game to help the other Rangers.
Episode 8 – Riches and Rags
When Ivan mistakes a thousand year old suit of armor as a training dummy, he finds himself in debt after destroying it. Heckyl sends in a hybrid monster named Spell Digger to spread greed to anyone who touches his gold coins.
