I don’t see anything wrong with setting the comic in present. Why this that a problem? Just take characters and setting and put modern spin with new stories. It’s basically just the common sense thing to do. Though I do agree they could have cooled it with “modern”…ness. The rangers seemed fairly individualized to me. Jason’s aggressive and giving orders, Zack’s using a bit of slang, Trini’s relatively quiet, Kimberly has sarcastic one liners and Billy’s a standard nerd.

So happy that you’re uploading podcasts semi-regularly!

I am late on this one.

1). Heard about the comic book. Saw that it was MMPR themed. Said, “No, thanks”. Tired of MMPR being glorified so damn much. It was cool was it was the 90s, but because so many more series have happened, so many BETTER series have happened, I feel that other series need to be given a chance. Just saying.

2). ^^ Yes, I know, MMPR is Saban’s cash cow.

3). It’s too bad what had happened with Medina. I wasn’t there. I have no idea what happened. I just hope it all works out. It sucks.

4). Dino Super Charge summeries. I should have read the blurb under this podcast. Damn you guys for the spoilers. I hate spoilers.

5). Though they were f*cked up spoilers. I will give you points for that. I like f*cked up spoilers.

6). I heard through a friend about the PR themed Art Show. I explored the online pictures, and saw it was mainly glorified MMPR sh*t. I thought about it, and then decided that I didn’t want to drag my butt out there to listen to a bunch of bandwagon fans talk about the franchise.

There is nothing like trying to have a conversation about the Power Rangers universe with someone who hasn’t watched PR since the 90s, and only has the memories of the 90s, and hates everything afterwards. It’s mind numbing.

But what’s worse are the bandwagon fans, who have never really watched a full season of PR, but wear the gear, and when you ask them about their gear, they only know what it said on the back of the box. I really, genuinely dislike bandwagon fans.

My friend, who told me of the event, swore that there were more than just “bandwagon fans” there. Though yes, everyone he tried to engage with were like, “OMG, Tommy is the bestest!” To that, I decided against going.

7). But now I learn that NPS was at the event. Ah… and there were actors/etc/ there, too. You now gave my friend a little more cred. I am going to have to apologize the next time I see him.

8). You were in town, and I (theoretically could have ran into you, but didn’t so I ) missed you.

9). Phony people suck. I don’t know why folks pretend to know/like something, when they don’t know or like it at all. (Glaring at you, Bandwagon fans).

10). “Piranhas and Chum”. LMAO. It’s sadly true.

11). So, it’s February, and you are hinting about something super special. I hope your hands aren’t bloody from After Effects / Avid/ Final Cut Pro / Premiere Pro /etc.. slicing and dicing.

12). Whatever it is, I bloodly look forward to it.

13). Did you really go on a date?

14) Happy Valentine’s Day!
