Erin Cahill’s “Fast Track” Available on DVD

Erin Cahill’s (Jen from Power Rangers Time Force) movie “Fast Track” is finally available on DVD in the US at Amazon. But $27 bucks?! For that movie?! No offense to our girl Erin, but I’ve half of the movie, and it’s not worth that much. Sorry!

But I know there are guys out there who are waiting to see Erin’s sex scene, so you’ll probably buy it anyway!

Topless Robot’s 10 Greatest Life-Sized Toys Ever

NPS’s Jer keeps bringing up Topless Robot, so finally I actually remember to write about one of their lists. In The 10 Greatest Life-Sized Weapon and Accessory Toys Ever, they give two nods to Power Rangers. So these people have to be awesome. Here’s Number 6:

Power Rangers’ Power Gun/Blade Blaster and Power Morpher

[...] Yes, we couldn’t all live the glorious lives of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers like Jason, Kimberly, Trini, Zach, Billy, and Tommy, but we could dream, and the sweet Morpher that came with the toy set in question went a long way. The Power Morpher lit up, had built-in sound effects and came with all five original power coins. The package also included the super sweet Power Gun, which could convert to become the “Power Sword” (sorry He-Man) for close range combat, and looked like a T-Rex to boot, so dino- awesomeness points have to be awarded for that.

Read the rest of the article to find out what other Power Rangers toy made it on the list, and how far up!

Greg Aronowitz’s SPD Emergency

Greg Aronowitz (Executive Producer from Power Rangers SPD) will be writing up about his time and work on the show, and he’s recently updated his blog with Part 1. It’s all about creating Doggie Cruger and his wife Aisynia, and his first days on the set in New Zealand. There better be a lot more parts to the SPD journey or else! Here’s an excerpt from his entry:

Even though I had written and directed for television before, SPD was my first Executive Producer gig. I was brought on to “expand the vision” of the show, and bring a new and fresh element to the PR franchise. My background was in Special FX and Production Design. I don’t know why I am capitalizing those titles, but I guess it makes them look more Important.

I wanted the futuristic Earth of 2025 (yes, 2025!!!!) to be coherent, the environments and the characters all feeling grounded, interactive with each other. The storyline we came up with made Earth a safe haven for aliens, much as the US was to immigrants back when the Statue of liberty was more than a tourist attraction. So it was important to me that there were actually ALIENS in the show, which always seems to be the first thing cut out of any sci-fi TV!

Greg has also posted a lot of pictures of the process, so check them out, and give him feedback on his entry on Twitter!

OMGURLFTW! – Reuben Langdon Blog

In this installment of OMGURLFTW!, we look at the very prolific stuntman Reuben Langdon. If you don’t know his name, then shame on you! Really though, he’s worked on so many projects, including doing stunts from the very end of Power Rangers Lost Galaxy to Power Rangers Wild Force. He almost became Leo in Lost Galaxy! ALMOST!

Nowadays, he runs his own production company Just Cause Productions, specializing in motion capture. But that’s not the OMGURLFTW! site. His blog is!

His latest entry is about working with Dan Southworth (Eric from Power Rangers Time Force) and a few others on a Time Warner commercial, and the pictures and tales he tells is epic! And any entry with a naked man’s behind is worth checking out regardless.

So check out http://blog.reubenlangdon.com!
