Walter Jones Working with Marlon Jackson
No, Walter Jones will not be joining The Jacksons. In a short interview back in February 2009, Walter talks about his upcoming projects, including working with Marlon Jackson and the Motherland Group in developing The Badagry in Nigeria, the ancient slave route where, still, many Nigerians are poor. Good for you, Walter!

America’s Got Talent Gets Morphinomenal
It’s the semi-finals of America’s Got Talent, and the dance group the FootworKINGz have been a huge favorite of the show thus far. Until they busted out a dance to the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers theme song. The idea was great. The execution…not so much. Thank goodness the Hoff saves them! Watch the performance below.

Walter Jones Pleads “Not Guilty” For DUI
From July 24th through the 26th of this year, Walter Jones made an appearance at PersaCon in Decatur, Alabama. Little did he know that he was going to do more than sign autographs and teach salsa dancing.
According to PersaCon’s chairperson Lauren Collen, that Sunday morning, Jones asked for directions at a local gas station and was pulled over for “‘failure to dim headlights’.” She continues, “He forced a very competent and alert (obviously not drunk) Walter to perform the various field sobriety tests. For those that don’t know, those tests consist of testing your balance, awareness, and even a breathalyzer (which checks how much alcohol is in your system). Walter passed all of those tests with flying colors, and yet he was still handcuffed.”
Jones was then charged for driving under the influence, and TMZ caught wind of the situation. Needless to say, it was all over the internet, and hardly anyone got to hear the other side of the story.
Now, our Black Ranger is fighting back! According to TMZ, “Lawyers for Walter Jones … were in an Alabama court yesterday to enter the plea” of not guilty. The trial is set for mid-November.

New Kamen Rider Dragon Knight Trailer from Japan
The new trailer has new footage of Kamen Rider Siren, and dubbed up the wazoo! Honestly, it may be more interesting to watch the dub than the actual American version, and trust me, for those who know me, those words hardly ever leave my mouth. Anywho, looks like Dragon Knight will be premiering in October. Hopefully not October of next year, because that would suck!

Disney To Buy Marvel Enterprises For $4 Billion
According to this link… and the ENTIRE INTERNET, Disney has agreed to buy Marvel Entertainment for an estimated $4 billion dollars.
For Disney, it might take years for them to do anything more than gain licensing fees, which is still an attractive revenue stream for them.
If Power Rangers was still being made, would we have had teamups with Marvel characters? Well, one can always dream.

Family Force 5 – Ranger Edition
I’ve been listening to the Family Force 5 for a few months now, and I love them. I love them even more for their music video for “Dance or Die”. There isn’t any spandex (Thank God?), but these guys were definitely influenced by Power Rangers for the video.

Happy 16th Birthday, Power Rangers!
Where were you 16 years ago on this day? You know where I was? At school, lol! I hadn’t even paid attention to Power Rangers until later on when all of my friends and cousins were telling me about this new, cool show. So I checked it out, saw some Saved By The Bell-esque kids doing martial arts, and I was sold.
For most of you though, August 28th, 1993 was the day that blew your mind. You saw the promos. You probably already saw the toys. And then it was finally time to witness the best show ever! So instead of being our normal jaded selves, lets reminisce on the show that brought a generation together.
