HJU Interviews Nathan Long, Head Writer of Kamen Rider Dragon Knight
The fans at Hensin Justice Unlimited got a chance to submit questions for Nathan Long (Head Writer from Kamen Rider Dragon Knight). To sum up the interview, a lot of things plot-wise weren’t able to come into fruition due to “time and budget”. I definitely have an opinion on Long’s responses (and a lot of these questions), but I think I’ll leave that to the podcast. For now, here’s the interview in its entirety:

Rare VR Troopers Cast Dub and Outtakes
Back in the day, my two main shows were Power Rangers and VR Troopers. VR Troopers had Ryan Steele, J.B. Reese, and Kaitlin Star be a little older than the Ranger teens and have real jobs. It was so cool! Then it got cancelled, and looking back, I see why. It doesn’t hold up that well, but thanks to the cast of VR Troopers for dubbing part of an episode and completely losing their minds.
Darth_MacGyver from The Something Awful Forums explains that the following video is from “last day on the set of the show after they were canceled. Apparently, the whole crew got drunk and dubbed over the show”.
To be honest, I’m not a fan of things that are laced with profanity, so the dub wasn’t my favorite. Brad Hawkins (Ryan) and Richard Rabago (Tao) have got the potty mouths for days! Although, there are a lot of Power Ranger jokes and jabs, so I’d say check it out. And the outtakes are hilarious!

EDIT: Oh! And thanks to Michael Bacon for uploading this. Mike, don’t be afraid to show yourself and talk to some fans!

Where Are They Now? – Justin Nimmo
Before Anime Expo 2009 happened, almost all of the Power Rangers in Space cast were M.I.A. They all just disappeared after their show was done. Patricia Je Lee was the most seen on screen, and that was about it. But Anime Expo did happen, and it was good to see Patricia, Roger Velasco, and Selwyn Ward catch up and hear what they’re up to now.
Now, time for Justin Nimmo (Zhane from Power Rangers in Space). The last big project he was in was Pleasantville in 1998, and then we hadn’t heard from or seen him since. That’s because he got married, moved back to Oklahoma with his wife, and now is a co-owner of Just-in-Time Rent to Own. Here him talk about his business in the video below:

Cast Your Vote for the Power Up Video Challenge
I really wasn’t expecting much from the finalists, but darn these kids are so cute with their little Power Ranger videos and all, especially Calling All Rangers. Yes, it’s a kid standing there against green screen playing with his toys, but the kid morphs! And it’s so cute!
So cast your vote for the Power Up Video Challenge!
Vote for David de Lautour or DIE!
David de Lautour (RJ from Power Rangers Jungle Fury) has entered a film contest, judged by Peter Jackson, about “capturing the spirit of 100% pure New Zealand”. David’s pitch for his film is fabulous, and anyone who disagrees is a filthy liar! Go to Your Big Break to vote now! You’ve got 3 days left!
