We got him! We FINALLY got him! I’ve been waiting so long for him to resurface! And here come the undertones of comparing his being off the radar to that of Osama.. this is awkward. I kept guessing that Dan, Lauren, or Lisa would get Chris, even up to yesterday and the hint dropping. Next we NEED Danny Slavin or Sean Johnson

Since Andros was the newest Ranger on the team, would the hair bleaching be considered rookie hazing?

i love it! he made me laugh so much. hes hilarious! i think Justin is an awesome guy too. i love the whole space cast. i think space was one of my fave seasons. i love how it was done. i think it had the perfect cast, perfect storyline, perfect ranger costumes, everything. i was glad they came back in lost galaxy and he came back in forever red. i hope he does do something for the 20th anniversary. that would so rock. i love the show. i grew up with it. love me some Christopher!! : )

Just curious if you guys had a chance to ask him about maybe attending a future Morphicon

Oh my gosh! Wow! It was so good to hear from him. Andros was my all-time fav. Red Ranger. Thank you so much for this. If only you would’ve asked him if he and Edward Albert (Wes’ Dad) ever talked about their experiences on Power Rangers while working together on “The Legend of Holly Boy.”

That was such an amazing interview! Chris is an awesome and funny guy! I’ll be reading his comic books from now on. The art looks amazing. The story line is awesome as well. I’m hoping he comes to the next Power Morphicon in 2014. Maybe the whole team will show up. You never know. Next thing you guys should do is interview Sean CW Johnson. He’s another favorite ranger of mine. Can’t wait for the next interview to come out!

I’ll be honest … the main thing I wanted to know was if the hair was real or not. Great interview. :D

*Squeeeeee* The 12 year old girl inside of me went nuts when I saw that you interviewed CKL!

Ok, ok, so once upon a time I was in middle school, and my hormones were raging, and Saban presented us this beautiful cast to look at. I loved every single ranger on this cast. All the guys were hot, and the women were bad-ass. Ah, so you must understand that I’m going to be a little loopy in my responses…

My notes:
1. The “Backhand spring moment”. Too awesome. I can’t even to a cartwheel if my life depended on it. (I’ve tried, but what goes up comes smashing down. My arms don’t hold me).
2. The deleted kissing scene. 0.0 Now I know how Gollum felt when he lost his ring. “Looooooooooooooost [opportunity]! Looooooooooooooost!” Tommy and Kimberly must have hit the quota for kissing. Tommy and Kat, Tommy and… yeah. Shoot, I would have been in heaven (at 12) for seeing that scene. I saw it at 8 (with Tommy and friends), and I wasn’t THAT badly damaged. (LOL).
3. Justin Nimmo. <3 <3 Just mentioning him made me blush (and I am OLD).
4. "The Clash of the Reds" (IE TJ and Andros). I can see how the former Red Ranger would be pissed to being demoted. I thought he was an awesome supporting actor for red.
5. Melanie Perkins. I absolutely loved her. I have an Ecliptor action figure on my book shelf, because it made me think of her. He's still there, under layers of dust. Thinking about it, I have an Andros Action figure floating around my room somewhere…oh, and the black Space Ranger is up there, too. I forgot about him. (Yeah, I'm really weird with my toys).
5.25 So Melanie. She was an awesome villain. Probably because I was the flaming PMS 12 year old, I could relate to her. She just did what she liked on a dime. (Just like adolescent hormones).
6. Fan Agrees. I agree that the Tear Scene was stupid, too. If Andros had magic healing powers via teas, he would have used them long ago… too easy of an ending if you ask me. Why not use an AED to spring her back to life? Or some crazy contraption? Tears….eh.
7. I now know that the dying of the hair was painful. But let me tell you, my 12 year old self absolutely enjoyed every second of it. And, my Old Fart Self still does.
8. "Holy Sh–! You're Tommy" Exchange. Awesome. Awesome.
9. The "Andros Killed Zordon" deleted scene. Yeah, you would have been a douche bag, but it could have been funny, too. "I killed your mentor! [Insert Evil Laughter here]".
10. Regardless if the writers wanted the viewers to "hate" your character, it didn't work. Why? Well, my PMS-ing 12 year old self loved your douche bag grumpy character. Epic fail writers. I had the biggest crush on him. [Evil laughter here]/

Ok, now let me act my age: *Ehem* Thank you for taking the time to get into the acting industry, and entertaining the countless young people who watched Power Rangers. We enjoyed your portrayal of Andros, and would love to see you in the 20 Anniversary episode. We understand that you may have short hair now (and may sob privately, because not many cute long haired guys exist..) *ehem*, and you may dislike the late 90s style clothing, but if you could just appear briefly, you would make all of us OLD Farts ubber proud to be ancient fans.

And, YAY for web-comics! (I actually listen to the podcast while I color comics on photoshop…) Keep it up!

I wrote a lot. And, it will never encompass how much I adored the Space season. So, just know that some people really got a lot out of your series. (And still have dusty action figures. I think yours is in my closet. So not dusty. I should look for Andros…hm…). And, you are much appreciated.

Good luck to you endeavors!

Mew, my post didn’t save.

Old Fart Fan added these pithy words on Jan 22 13 at 3:54 am

I posted a long post, and it didn’t save. So here, I will try again. But this will be the condensed “manic 12 year old” that’s within me going nuts over all things CKL.

1. The Hair. *drools*
2. “Holy Shit! You’re Tommy” Best…conversation…ever.
3. Andros Killed Zordon and Bragged about it. Then was cut out of final scene. Yeah, too douchy, but awesome. “I killed your Mentor “. Andros would be the most hated Red Ranger after that. I cried in that episode. No, not Forever Red. (When Zordon begged Andros to put him out of his misery).
4. Fan Agreement: I hated the tear duct magic trick to revive Corone, too.
5. Was in love with Melanie Perkin’s character. Loved, loved, loved Astronoma. What hormonal 12 year old wouldn’t like Astronoma? She was badass!
6. TJ jealous of Andros, due to be demoted in rank. Well, now he gets too feel what the ladies have been feeling up to the one episode in Samurai…(we want to be Red, too)!
7. Justin Nimmo *heart flutters*
7.25 Justin Nimmo. *big grin* I loved his romance with Astronoma. That was Epically beautiful.
7.50 Recharging his morpher in a lightening storm. Pretty boy. *Mmmm*
(don’t ask)
8. The deleted Kiss. What?!? Tommy was kissing anything that walked in previous episodes, and you are telling me that it’s suddenly “a kids show”? WTF?!
8.25 Want to see that scene. I would have been on cloud 9 for months after that scene. (Mind you, I was 12).
9. The back handspring conversation. I think that is awesome. I can’t do a cartwheel if my life depended on it. But I can do a back flip off the diving board…
10. I will eat my veggies. But I don’t drink milk. *gross*

Overall (The condensed version): I thoroughly enjoyed the space series. I was in love the staff. I loved the badassed villains. I had crushes on all of the guys. I loved the stories. I loved the Psycho rangers elements. I politely ignore the Ninja Turtles, even though I liked that too.

So, for all the Old Fart Fans, like myself, can you please please please think about doing the 20th Anniversary for the series. It might be hella corny, but just know that we 20-somethings and beyond will be trucking it out with you. Being the Old Fart in the PR section of the toy store is a bit weird. Especially when I am more excited that the kid about the new toy…

Thank you for your service with Space. We fans appreciated it. I can’t encompass the awesomeness of your series was to me, so I just resort to: Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

*internet hug and then bounces away*

I’m actually so glad this interview happened. I actually hope he does make some sort of appearance in Mega Force. It would be so awesome. My feels would just go overboard.

Totally with Old Fart Fan on the whole screaming teenage girl moment. I had like a huge dopey grin on my face the whole time. lol Great interview. Would love to hear another one with Christopher. It gives me my screaming late twenties girl moment. Good questions and good job guys.

(sorry if you dont understand but I’m a Spanish-speaking country)}
Finally he showed up! …. it would be fun if he really said “I killed your Mentor “.
Why they deleted the Kiss, why!!!!!!!!! TT.TT is not fair I wait for that kiss each chapter and now, after years i found out that it exists…
PRIS is my favorite Power Ranger season and i’m sure many people think it is the best PR story and CKL should be proud of their work :) .
