Lights, camera, action!  Today Bandai America Incorporated revs up the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers “Power Up Video Challenge” movie-making contest by announcing the panel of expert judges who will help select the winners. Including a former Mighty Morphin Power Rangers actor and director, Yahoo! Movies executive producer, a stop-motion animation producer/director and a toy industry insider, this esteemed panel will select their top entries before turning them over to public voting to determine the grand prize winners of $11,000 total in cash prizes.  Judges include:

o   Sean Phillips, executive producer of Yahoo! Movies

o   Mike Crawford, MWC Toys

o   John Andrews, executive producer and creative director at Ka-Chew

o   Paulie Schrier, former Mighty Morphin Power Rangers actor and director

The “Power Up Video Challenge” kicks off the refreshed Mighty Morphin toy line with fans and families battling not only for the salvation of the universe but also for some mighty good prizes.  Consumers are challenged to view a Power Rangers “cliffhanger video” online or at one of more than 2,000 movie theatres in the United States and then submit their own unique ending in a mini-movie or storyboard at Bandai.com.  Selected by both peers and the judging panel, the winning video and storyboard entries will receive $10,000 and $1,000 in cash prizes respectively.  Plus, four runner-up winners will receive supercharged Mighty Morphin Power Rangers prize packs featuring action figures, Megazords and other Power Rangers toys!

There’s still plenty of time to enter!  Fans have until December 15, 2009 to submit their entries to www.bandai.com.  So break out those digi-cams, art supplies or even camera phones and get your “Hollywood ending” in front of the experts for a chance to win!

Contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are between the ages of three and 13. Entrants must have a parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to participate in this Contest prior to entering. For official rules visit www.bandai.com/powerrangers/videochallenge.
