Archie Kao (Kai from Power Rangers Lost Galaxy) co-stars in the new NBC drama Chicago P.D.

He plays Detective Sheldon Jin, “the tech geek in charge of surveillance and tech ops.” The series can be seen every Wednesday at 10/9c.

Archie Kao (Kai from Power Rangers Lost Galaxy) was part of another snippet of TMZ’s television program, for the 2/7/11 edition.

This time, on the way inside of the Cheesecake Factory restaurant, their photographer mistakes him for actor John Cho. He’s a bit embarrassed, but they catch up with him after he leaves, and he seems to have taken it all in stride.

As always, there could be footage of this found on the TMZ website within the next few days.

Archie Kao (Kai from Power Rangers Lost Galaxy) was part of a featured piece on the 1/3/11 episode of TMZ’s television edition.

The segment follows Archie’s recurring role on CSI: as a technical assistant, and how every other police drama also seems to have Asian men playing the part of the computer experts.
