Then re-watch the first episode of Ninja Steel. It’s bad, but it’s not Megaforce.
(It’s my mantra whenever the PR is tough to watch. It used to be “at least it is not Turbo”. Then Overdrive came into existence. Now we have Megaforce).

Basically, they needed to SHOW not tell in episode 1. They needed to flesh it out future, and they didn’t. It felt rushed. And, yes, I wasn’t a huge fan of the father protecting son story. We’ve seen it too many times. And, the non-existent mother must be a Disney thing that never left. lol.

The theme song doesn’t excite me. It’s generic. Bland. Boring. I’ve been doing this fan thing for a loooong time. Old fart fan. I mean it. There have been “eh” openings before (Overdrive, anyone), but this one takes the cake.

Overall, I don’t think it was a 1. Maybe a 3. I just think of past seasons, and know that it can be worse. Am I being too kind by giving it a 3? Maybe. I also automatically give anything post-magaforce an automatic +1, for the very fact that it was NOT megaforce. Terrible, huh?
