It wasn't until fairly recently that I even learned that Brad Hawkins was originally supposed to be the White Ranger. Although after having watched the original promo reel for Cybertron, knowing that it was originally meant to be a starring vehicle for JDF, it does make sense how things proceeded.

Don't get me wrong, it would've been nice to see JDF in an American adaptation of Metalder, but VR Troopers remains for me a great show, even if slightly underappreciated and overshadowed by the Power Rangers juggernaut. I am glad that he also provided the voice for Trey of Triforia for Power Rangers Zeo, so that was cool.
