Oh crap, you guys made me laugh...ah...yes, I, too call this new season: Sentai on Acid.

1. About the opening. I think I have only seen it once. The closing makes me laugh, and I didn't really start paying attention to it until last week's episode: "Oh, it is a dance about each ranger's dinosaurs..."

For Gobuster's ending theme, I would mimic the dance sequence because I honestly wanted to learn it. It looked fun. (I have no clue when I can bust out this sequence in my outside life, but I attempted to learn it anyway). This current Sentai? Nah.

2. "Wooo woooo woooo wooo..." That's probably partly why I have only listened to it once (or twice) and not bothered since. I listened to Gobusters, and Gokiager every time, but this one...no thanks. It's just weird. The announcer sounds like he is on something...I have seen a lot of things, but this is weird.

Maybe Tim Burton has finally rubbed off on Sentai? (BTW: I like Mr. Burton).

3. Yes, the show is growing on me, even though there are parts that I can do without: (a) The Toy Mecha transformation sequence. It's TOYS! I see plastic looking Toys on screen! Even the morpher-blaster thingies look like TOYS! The battery looks like a TOY! The writers on this show must be on acid, if they can't afford real props, and have to use toys? What did they spend their budget on for us to all get toys for actual show pieces?

3.5. The mecha transformation sequence is painful to watch. It goes on way too long. It's too slow. I find myself laughing at it though. I think I go back to checking my email, and responding to a few tweets, before the sequence is finally over with.

4. 24 rangers? "Whooooa Whooooa Whoooa" (That's where that would be appropriate). Yes, Whoa! So 24 possible dead warriors from teams before? Does that mean that these current rangers are bound for life to the dinosaurs? Hm...and bound afterwards, too?

5. Oh, Gobusters grew on me. This new show is too. We will see what happens.

As always, keep up the good work. I love listening to your pod casts, and Lisa, about the black-face scene, you are not alone. I remember seeing something like that, and it made me jump. I should re-watch it, and find the exact time it happened...

Actually, the translation for the producer's comments were checked by several translators and the sexist nature was pretty unambiguous. Which is kinda sad, since KyoryuPink's actress explicitly said she wanted to attract more girl Sentai fans. I know people on a creative team can have different opinions but yeah the producer has more power than her.
