Inna added these pithy words on Sep 18 12 at 12:38 amThe best way to celebrate the 7th anniversary of nopinkspandex is to interview AJJ! It’s a dream come true!
Now I understand much better why she doesn’t do cons and stuff.
By the way, you should’ve asked her about Megaforce and if she would come back, if asked… The fans would be ecstatic!
Thanks a lot for this interview!

Grant added these pithy words on Sep 23 12 at 2:38 pmUm what was that about her not having seen Austin St. John since he left the show? They were in the movie together.
sakechan4ya added these pithy words on Oct 30 12 at 3:21 pmWow, what an awesome interview. This interview certainly cleared up A LOT of preconceived notions I had about AJJ. I’m really happy that she acknowledges that PR helped jump start her career and it seems like she really did enjoy her time on the show with her castmates. She has had a very fruitful success in both her career and personal life. Wish AJJ the all the best in life, and thanks for the cool interview~
Old Fart Fan added these pithy words on Nov 03 12 at 1:53 amMy childhood now makes more sense with an adult’s perspective. It’s funny how you understand things better as an adult, and you understand the actor’s perspective of living life. Amy helped me understand what exactly happened with the Non-Union vs. Union tidbit, I always was confused about it. As a kid, I never got the strait answer, and now, I finally “get it”. Thanks for clearing that up.
I also never understood why AJ wasn’t very “out there” like Jason Frank, but the whole being petrified and having nightmares makes a lot of sense to me. As a kid, we did think that the actors were “gods”. Well, we looked up to them, and didn’t really understand, until later, that they were just like us. We just saw them as confident, and strong individuals, and never really “got” the human side. It’s also the age most of us were at (7, 8, 9…), where we were just developing the use of abstract thinking. So, putting ourselves into “their shoes” wasn’t quite there yet. And, we didn’t have enough life experiences to understand why they would get scared of a lot of people. They were “Power Rangers”, they couldn’t get scared.
As an adult, it makes perfect sense. I have stage fright myself. I can relate completely. I even have a hard time stringing sentences together when doing presentations or speeches. So, when AJ says that she had stage fright, I understand.
And, yes, there are a lot of weird fans. I’ve heard some strange tales of what fans send their idols. And, quite frankly, I would be scared, too.
So, a lot of little things have been “put into perspective” from this interview. Thanks NPS for having AJ come aboard, and thank you AJ for doing this interview.
Oh, and I always wondered what would happen when the cameras are rolling and someone lays a rotten egg… (RE: Billy & Kim Story).
Thanks guys!
