By the way, since Ms Appleby seems to teach the majority of their classes, and the Rangers can’t understand Billy, maybe they’re in remedial classes? Maybe that’s why these teenagers have attitude?

As for Billy, maybe he had self esteem issues, and it affected his school performance. Later when they all became a great team, he quickly caught up and graduated early.
